Crash Course refers to many things. Life is short, often times erratic and explosive. People live their lives as if they have forever, as if they will be here on this planet for eternity. That is simply not the case. We never know when we will take our last breath, when we may accidentally step out in front of a bus, or when The Universe may – for some unforeseen reason – strike us dead. A unibomber may decide to board our flight and POW – that’s all she wrote.
My little sister died on Feb 13, 2008. She was only 33 years old. Her death was sudden and shook me to my very core. It woke me up. I looked around at my life, my opportunities, and the way I had been living. I decided to start making changes. Not long after that, the man who had asked me to marry him broke up with me, in a text message. So I continued the grieving, and then I decided to write a book about my life. And all the crap I’d been through. I titled the book Crash Course.
I hope you will read my book, listen to my stories, and examine your own life as well. I discovered that I am worth something. You are too.
